This is one of my favorite times of the year, because it symbolizes rebirth and starting anew. Certainly, there are the various traditions that come with this holiday. What I would like to speak of is pretty universal.
Just like the new year we press a "reset" button, I would like to think of this day as the same. Constant reinvention of ourselves in a way that consistently creates positive change is progress. Progress is the key ingredient to long-lasting happiness, because this is where fulfillment happens. Without it, I would argue it would be very difficult to be happy at all.
There is no standing still in life. Either there is progression or regression. It's all in our hands!
