Happy Lunar New Year of the Wooden Snake!

Happy New Year, Everyone!  

恭喜發財!

What is written in Chinese above does not translate to "Happy New Year".  Though it is what many say wishing each other well in the upcoming year, the literal translation is "congratulations" [恭喜] [pronounced "gowng-she"] and "generating prosperity" [發財] [pronounced "fah-tsai" (the "ts" is like the "zz" sound in "pizza" and the "ai" is like the letter "I")].  The way I see it, it's like we are giving an affirmation, bringing fortune and good luck into the present.  It is the Law of Assumption at work!  

Of course, for us to experience a good year, we need to take the right action from a well thought out plan.  This also means that we let what needs to stay last year, stay last year.  We can't repeat what wasn't working to achieve anything worth a damn, right?  

Enter the Snake and the New Moon in Aquarius.  

The sign of Aquarius is that of innovation and revolution.  With the New Moon reflecting new beginnings, it is fitting for ringing in a New Year.  

As with the Snake, all about transformation and upgrading to the Version 2.0 of themselves, they are the most willful of all the 12 lunar animal zodiac signs!  Those that have this sign in their birth chart [year, month, day, and/or hour] are relentless at getting what they want, all while looking good doing it!  They aren't one to give up so easily.  Other characteristics include clear thinking, wisdom, and excellent articulation; making them effective leaders.

Even if we don't have this sign, we can leverage off the energy from this zodiac powerhouse to go for our goals.  We just need to think outside the box.  The combination of the Snake, the New Moon and Aquarius are more than enough to give us that head start.  We may have already experienced the peculiar ways good opportunities have presented themselves.  Just like the Snake shedding its old skin to embrace the new, we must do the same.  Let's be on the look out for and remain open to life's coming attractions!

Planets on Parade

While I don't know a whole lot about the phenomenon taking place on January 25th, 2025, it appears it's a very rare event that no one should miss.  Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune will line up visibly across the night's sky for a truly cosmic showstopper!

Our Wolf Shows Its Shadow

The 111 Portal is now open and is due to last a few days.  Within this period, we will have the Wolf Moon in Cancer on the 13th.  It will be the first full moon of the year. 

In numerology, the number "1" symbolizes unity with God; hence the Universe is named so, as we are all "One Verse".  Because we are one with the Divine, this portal enhances our participation in co-creation by way of manifestation.  This holds especially true because of the digit repeating three times, intensifying its power.

111 signifies new beginnings, whether it's a new relationship, a new career, and/or a new business venture.  We just need to do our part and set the intention, trust ourselves, have a plan, and take action.  A huge part of seeing things come to fruition is having faith that we can get what it is that we want.  A positive mindset is key.

This coincides with the Wolf Moon, in that we may require to do some shadow work to acquire this necessary optimism.  Our energy must be aligned with our desire for our efforts to have the greatest efficacy.  For many of us, it is a time of introspection, purification, and healing.  Having compassion for ourselves and others is crucial, so we don't get caught up in the emotional chaos that is going on right now.

Let's stay focused and embrace our inner power.  This means displaying authenticity.  In addition to having faith, we've got to have the courage to truly express ourselves. We can't hide who we really are just to "fit in" and gain acceptance.  For many of us, it means parting ways with what no longer serves us.  This could be a relationship that has run its course, a job that is robbing us of our joy, or an environment that has proven toxic.  We must act on our plans for our exodus.

The Power of Nine: Happy New Year!

Wow!  We made it!  Hello, 2025!

Adding the individual numbers, we get:

2+0+2+5 = 9

If we do a Google search for the number nine in terms of symbolism, the results show various meanings across different cultures and religions throughout the world.  For this blog post, we'll focus on the aspect of completion and transformation.  The previous entry mentioned it briefly as we are wrapping up a nine-year cycle.  

Every nine years, a major energy shift happens that is fertile ground for manifestations.  That being said, moving ahead, our lives could have some curveballs and unexpected changes.  We need to decipher which ones are good for us and which ones are not.  Keep in mind, what's good for us may not always be pleasant.  However, it can be an experience that could lead to positive personal growth, given we chose wisely.  

With a carefully thought out plan of action and the execution of that plan, we'll be better equipped to navigate through whatever is thrown at us.  We just need to make sure that we pick our moments, so as to seize the opportunity when it arises.  If we have done the best we could, exhibiting lots of patience will prove beneficial in order to keep our sanity and "our eyes on the prize".  From there, we can ask for God's help for guidance and to better our best.

P.S. In 2024, there were some interesting developments regarding total global views of this site.  Under "Top Locations", three stood out.  The first two are Hong Kong and Singapore, that went from not even placing among the top, to taking the 2nd and 3rd spot, respectively, behind the United States in a span of a few months.  The 2024 MVP Award, however, goes to the Netherlands.  The country went from nearly dead last in the standings to #5 in just a matter of a little over a month!  At one point, they even took 4th place ahead of Russia.  Quite impressive!  Dankjewel, Nederlanders!  :-)
