Here's my French inspired duck stew I made during the season (photo in six parts below):

1. Brown duck legs

2. Roast in oven to make confit

3. Slice and debone

4. Prepare your choice of veggies

5. Add veggies and confit to roux/consomme.  

6. Serve as desired (here over brown rice)

And, of course, holiday turkey.  :-)

9/11 Tribute from Sail Bay

Sorry for the delay.  For some reason, my phone couldn't access this site, so I wasn't able to post up anything until I got back home.  Please forgive me in this vblog if it seems low energy.  I'm operating on very little sleep, as we also had a wonderful annual event that weekend.  Anyhow, hope everyone had a great summer!

P.S. The person who gave the dance class is Louis van Amstel from the show "Dancing with the Stars".  He was one of our speakers at our annual event and hung out with us at the getaway after.  He's in one of the photos below.  See if you can spot him.  :-)
